Hogwarts Through the Ages

My latest entry for LEGO Ideas contests: The LEGO Harry Potter 20th Anniversary Contest.

I decided to combine the elements I like the most from all the versions of Hogwarts that have existed, along with new interiors and a special shape for the occasion: the HP logo.

Inside you can explore a welcome banquet in the Great Hall, the Room of Requirement that converts from the lost and found room to a cleaning cellar, the astronomy tower, the Entrance Hall, McGonagall's office, a secret room of sweets, Snape's secret potions room, the library and Dumbledore's office with a rising and turning golden griffin statue.

26th Century Shop

Entry for LEGO Ideas. The contest required submissions for the image of a jigsaw puzzle. In five hundred years, what will a mall be like?

This set is based on a shop I made by combining the pieces from two other sets to build something new (sets 60264 and 31105). Later, with the help of Bricklink Studio and several Photoshop layers, I managed to complete the entire environment that was only in my imagination.

Magic potions, identities for Halloween (or other mischiefs), lotions, caps, wigs, free gazes at the stars! This shop has it all!

Coral Reef Walk

Entry for a LEGO Ideas contest that required entries for a gift set of 150 to 250 pieces.

Under the theme "summer vacations" I decided to depict a unique experience that exists in several natural parks in the Mexican Caribbean: With the help of weighted diving suits, visitors can walk along the seabed, among wildlife and corals.

The set is a simple cabin that opens and reveals a world of nature and color within.

Vacations

Another entry for LEGO Ideas. The contest required proposal for a gift set between 150 and 250 pieces.

The set opens to simulate the size of a room where a girl plays with her toys and imagines herself inside her games.

Based on my WOODEN BLOCKS, the set seeks to portray the inmersive imagination of the girl by making her room and her wooden blocks construction look alike.

SPACESHIP Arcade

This is a proposal for an arcade at a shopping center.

I modeled, textured, lit and rendered this images, in adition to designing the SPACESHIP logo.

The Tin Soldier

Another entry for the LEGO Ideas contests. It was required to recreate a clasical story for the recently released Pop-Up Book set.

My idea is based on the short from Disney's film FANTASIA, inspired on Hans Christian Andersen's The Steadfast Tin Soldier.

There's a chimney, the wooden boat in which the soldier goes astray, the evil clown, the tin soldier himself and the ballerina with whom he falls in love.

Astronomy Tower

For a Harry Potter contest of LEGO Ideas, I proposed a part of Hogwarts Castle that had never been seen in LEGO before. The Astronomy Tower in a time of the year we had also never seen portrayed before: Christmas.

The Christmas tree has the golden spheres, the stars and moons that we see in the decorations from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
